I have four pieces of Cozy Mystery news to share with you all about established site authors for September.<\/p>\n

First, Lorna Barrett<\/a><\/strong> (aka\u00a0L. L. Bartlett<\/a>\u00a0&\u00a0Lorraine Bartlett<\/a>) will be putting out two more entries in the Booktown Mystery Series<\/strong>, starring Tricia Miles, owner of Haven’t Got a Clue Mysery bookstore, as well as her sister Angelica Preston, which will take the series to a total of 16 entries. Barrett also writes the Victoria Square Mystery Series<\/strong> and Lotus Bay Mystery Series<\/strong> as Lorraine Bartlett<\/strong>, and the Jeff Resnick Mystery Series<\/strong> as L. L. Bartlett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next up, Maya Corrigan<\/a><\/strong> will be putting out two more books in the Five-Ingredient Mystery Series<\/strong>, taking the series to a total of nine entries. The series stars Val Deniston, manager of a the Cool Down Cafe, a fitness club cafe near Chesapeake Bay.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/strong>Finally Mary Anna Evans<\/a><\/strong> will be releasing\u00a0The Physicists’ War<\/em>, a mystery set during WWII starring a young woman working in a shipbuilding factory in New Orleans who believes the parts she is assembling aren’t intended for ships, but for a secret government weapons project. I’m not sure yet if this will be a new series or a stand-alone novel, but it sounds interesting. Corrigan already writes the Faye Longchamp Mystery Series<\/strong>, which stars an archaeologist who lives on the gulf coast of Florida.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
