Here’s the Cozy Mystery news for this month, September 2018! It’s a pretty good list this month, so let’s jump right into it! (And I’ll get back to upcoming holiday releases again soon, don’t worry! I just like to get these news posts out when they’re “fresh”.)<\/p>\n

<\/a>First, Tessa Arlen<\/a><\/strong> will be beginning a new historical mystery series set in a small English village during World War II. The first book will be titled Poppy Redfearn and the Midnight Murders<\/em>. Tessa Arlen is already the author of one historical Cozy mystery series, the Lady Montfort Mystery Series<\/strong>, which stars a socialite in Edwardian England.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Krista Davis<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0fans will be pleased to know that she will be writing two more books in her\u00a0Pen & Ink Mystery Series<\/strong>. This series stars Florry Fox, a creator of adult coloring books and the manager of a bookstore in Georgetown, Washington, D. C. Krista Davis is also known for the Paws & Claws Mystery Series<\/strong>, starring Holly Miller, an employee of a family-owned inn for owners and pets as well as her very popular Domestic Diva Mystery Series<\/strong> which stars Sophie Winston, an advice columnist in Alexandria, Virginia.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Linda Reilly<\/a><\/strong> will be writing two more in her\u00a0Cat Lady Cozy Mystery Series<\/strong>, which stars Lara Caphart, the owner of a cat shelter and her unusual cat (a blue-eyed Ragdoll) in New Hampshire. Linda Reilly is also the author of the Deep Fried Mystery Series<\/strong>, which stars Talia Marby, who works at a fish and chips place in the Berkshires in Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Susan Sleeman<\/a><\/strong> will be starting a new\u00a0<\/strong>series, which will be about cyber criminals hacking into the Witness Protection database to sell personal details. Sleeman also writes the First Responders series<\/strong>, the Agents Under Fire Series<\/strong>, and the Justice Agency Series<\/strong>. (Susan’s books are often described on Amazon as either “Christian” or “Romance” suspense.)<\/p>\n

<\/a>Finally, Kirsten Weiss<\/a><\/strong> will be writing two new books in the Pie Town Mystery Series<\/strong>, bringing that series to a total of five books so far starring Valentine Harris, the owner of the pie shop Pie Town in San Nicholas, California. Kirsten Weiss is also the author of the Perfectly Proper Paranormal Mystery Series<\/strong>, starring the manager of a paranormal museum, the Doyle Mystery Series<\/strong>, starring the owner of a UFO themed bed and breakfast, and the Witches of Doyle Mystery Series<\/strong>, starring a witch and poet in Doyle, California.<\/p>\n
