“I’ve always enjoyed mysteries in which someone travels to England (or New England!), possibly to start life anew for whatever reason. (S)he settles in a cottage in a cozy village and somehow ends up solving a murder mystery. I’m not sure if that qualifies as a “theme” but I keep trying to find this type of mystery.
