Here’s another stumper! I received a letter on Monday from Carrie that goes as follows:<\/p>\n

“Hi,
\nI would like to find out more about Patricia Wentworth<\/a>.\u00a0 I know quite a lot\u00a0about her books, and I know her basic biography, but I want to find out more\u00a0about HER – I want to know whether she gave interviews, did book signings,\u00a0that kind of thing – it’s well known that she was more successful and\u00a0possibly better known in the US than in Britain, I have contacted Lippincott\u00a0her main publisher, but this firm now mainly publishes medical journals\u00a0and scientific works, and were unable to help me.\u00a0 I have a couple of\u00a0extracts from the New York Times from 1910 & 1912, but with so few\u00a0people remembering her now, I am finding it very\u00a0difficult to obtain\u00a0information.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Can you make any suggestions?\u00a0 Does anyone know any older\u00a0readers who ever met or saw Ms Wentworth?\u00a0 Help!!!!”<\/p>\n
