I flew out yesterday to celebrate this beautiful springtime event in DC and to spend Easter with my daughter. This is her first year to be living here – so I wanted to make this a mom\/daughter event. (Yes, to my friends\u00a0and family, as you know, I hate flying >>> so you know how determined\u00a0I was\u00a0to get out here!)<\/p>\n
We’re going down to see the blossoms this morning, and again during the beginning of the week. My \u00a0daughter doesn’t remember seeing the blossoms when she was itty-bitty, so it will be fun for me to see the blossoms with her “for the first time”.<\/p>\n
I didn’t get much actual reading done on the flight yesterday; however, I was able to listen to about half of the latest Alexander McCall Smith No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency<\/strong> novel.
