I am guessing that I am back home by now… and very tired! (This is my last post-dated blogs…)<\/p>\n
I love Colorado Springs! My parents moved there when I was in college, so "going home" as an adult was always Colorado Springs for me. After teaching school for a short time in Iowa, I felt like I wanted to move where I had family… so Colo. Sprgs. was the perfect destination. I taught Middle School – Special Ed while working on my Master’s degree… and I really feel at home there. Also, when our children were young, we lived there for a year. So, I feel like I have spent a considerable amount of time there.<\/p>\n
Each time I go back I try to take in the same sights that I recognize from back then… but each time I find it more difficult to get around. Colorado Springs has grown… like most other cities in the USA. This time, I will be glad to have a GPS with us so that we can maneuver the new streets in the new areas<\/b>. (My daughter is going to have to do the navigating, since I don’t know (yet!?) how to use the GPS.)<\/p>\n
Anyway, I should be back home by now… and perhaps taking a vacation after my vacation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
