Camille Minichino<\/a>‘s books. I don’t think that I have written about the fact that my daughter is not a Cozy Mystery book enthusiast. She was an Aerospace Engineering student (until her graduation this past May) and most of her reading was very technical. Even her reading for enjoyment was scientific… books about Physics, Astronomy, Probability, etc. >>>\u00a0Not at all Cozy in nature!<\/p>\nWhen I first started reading\u00a0Minichino’s Periodic Table series, I told my daughter that I thought she might enjoy reading her… and to make a long story (just!) a little shorter:\u00a0She did! My daughter has been home for the summer and has had a lot of time for\u00a0reading. She started the series quite a bit later than I did. As I finished the books,\u00a0I placed them on her\u00a0nightstand.<\/p>\n
Right before I wrote that entry, my daughter asked me where\u00a0I had placed the next book in the series and was quite surprised that I hadn’t read it yet. She couldn’t believe I read so slowly.\u00a0That was NOT the case.\u00a0I was simply\u00a0“saving” the books. What?!?<\/p>\n
She convinced me to live dangerously…\u00a0throw caution to the wind…\u00a0bite the bullet…savor the moment… don’t put off until tomorrow… If I keep putting off reading my favorite Cozies, what am I accomplishing?\u00a0<\/p>\n
