David Roberts<\/a><\/strong>: The Lord Edward Corinth Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in London\u00a0and teams an aristocrat with a journalist who\u00a0solve their way through\u00a0more than one\u00a01930’s mystery.<\/p>\n

Caroline Roe<\/a><\/strong> (aka Medora Sale): Roe holds her PhD in Medieval Studies and writes the Isaac\u00a0from Girona Mystery Series<\/strong> which features a blind doctor in mid 1300s Spain.<\/p>\n

Elliot Roosevelt<\/a><\/strong>: Both of Roosevelt’s series take place in Washington, DC. The Eleanor Roosevelt Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place during the 1940s and the Blackjack Endicott Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place during the 1930s.<\/p>\n

Kate Ross<\/a><\/strong>: 1820s London is the setting for the Julian Kestrel Mystery Series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

P. B. Ryan<\/a><\/strong>:\u00a0Ryan’s Gilded Age Mystery Series<\/strong> has a governess from Ireland who sleuths in\u00a0post-Civil War Boston.<\/p>\n

C. J. Sansom<\/a><\/strong>: 16th century England is the setting for his\u00a0Matthew Shardlake Mystery Series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Walter Satterthwait<\/a><\/strong>: The Pinkerton Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place during the 1920s. The main sleuth is Detective Phil Beaumont of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency .<\/p>\n

Catherine Shaw<\/a><\/strong>: Shaw writes the Vanessa Duncan Cambridge Mystery Series<\/strong> which features a teacher in Cambridge during the late 1800s.<\/p>\n

Nicola Slade<\/a><\/strong>: Slade\u00a0writes a British, historical series: the Charlotte Richmond Investigates Mystery Series<\/strong> which is set during Victorian times.<\/p>\n

Joanna Campbell Slan<\/a><\/strong>:\u00a0Slan writes the Jane Eyre Chronicles Mystery Series<\/strong>, which features Charlotte Bront\u00eb’s Jane in mid 1800s England.<\/p>\n

Rosemary Stevens<\/a> <\/strong>(aka Rosemary Martin): The Beau Brummel Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place during the Regency period (1790-1820) in London, with Beau being a fashion expert, and also a sleuth.<\/p>\n
