Celina Grace<\/a>: Miss Hart and Miss Hunter Investigate Mystery Serie<\/strong>s takes place in the 1930s.<\/p>\n

Pip Granger<\/a><\/strong>: Granger’s Rosie Featherby Mystery Series<\/strong> is set in a cafe during post WW II London.<\/p>\n

Susanna Gregory<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(aka 1\/2 of Simon Beaufort): The Chronicles of Matthew Bartholomew Mystery Series<\/strong> takes place in the 1300s and the Thomas Chaloner Mystery Series<\/strong> takes place in the 1600s… both are set in Great Britain.<\/p>\n

D.E. Ireland<\/strong><\/a>: The\u00a0Eliza Doolittle & Henry Higgins Mystery Series is<\/strong>\u00a0based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion characters, set during Edwardian times.<\/p>\n

Maureen Jennings<\/strong><\/a>: The Murdoch Mystery Series<\/strong> takes place in Canada, during the 1880s. Her Detective Inspector Tom Tyler Mystery Series<\/strong> features one of the only detective inspectors in England during WW II.<\/p>\n

Cathie John<\/a><\/strong>: This writing duo is comprised of Cathie & John Celestri (a mother\/son duo). Their Little Mexico Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in Kentucky during the 1940s.<\/p>\n

Abigail Keam<\/strong><\/a>: 1930s Mona Moon Mystery Series<\/strong> – Mona receives a huge inheritance from her uncle during the Depression.<\/p>\n

Laurie R. King<\/a><\/strong>: The Mary Russel Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in England in the early 1900s, and features Mary as the sleuth, and she happens to be a protege of Sherlock Holmes.<\/p>\n

Peter King<\/a><\/strong>: The Jack London Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in the late 1800s, in California. (Do you remember the classic novel The Call of the Wild… by Jack London?)<\/p>\n

Kate Kingsbury<\/a><\/strong>: The Pennyfoot Hotel Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in England during the very early 1900s and features\u00a0Cecily Sinclair\u00a0as the owner of the hotel, and\u00a0the sleuth of the series. Kingsbury’s\u00a0World War II Manor House Mystery Series <\/strong>is also set in England… during WW II.<\/p>\n

Mary Kruger<\/a><\/strong>: The Gilded Age Mystery Series <\/strong>takes place in Rhode Island during the 1890s and features an author of mysteries.<\/p>\n

Deryn Lake<\/a><\/strong> writes the John Rawlings Mystery Series<\/strong> which features Sir John Fielding (the\u00a0blind British magistrate who started the Bow Street Runners – the first British police force) along with John Rawlings, a young apothecary, set during the 1700s.<\/p>\n

Clare Langley-Hawthorne<\/a><\/strong>: Ursula Marlowe Mystery Series takes place in early 1900’s London.<\/p>\n

Janet Laurence<\/a><\/strong>: The Canaletto Mystery Series <\/strong>is set in London and features an Italian painter\/sleuth during the 1700s.<\/p>\n

Margaret Lawrence<\/a><\/strong>: The Hannah Trevor Mystery Series <\/strong>is set during the Revolutionary War in New England and the main character is a midwife.<\/p>\n

Gillian Linscott<\/a><\/strong>: The Nell Bray Mystery Series <\/strong>features a suffragette in England.<\/p>\n

Catherine Lloyd<\/a><\/strong>: The Kurland St. Mary Mystery Series<\/strong> stars the daughter of a vicar in a\u00a0small English town in the 1810s.<\/p>\n

Anna Loan-Wilsey<\/a><\/strong>: The\u00a0Hattie Davish “Have Typewriter Will Travel” Mystery Series\u00a0<\/strong>features a traveling secretary\/typist in the late 19th century. Hattie travels to different locales in the USA.<\/p>\n
