Cook, Kathleen Ernst : Soon to be Released Cozies!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend I found out about two new Cozy Mystery books that are going to be released, which quite frankly, I don&#8217;t know how I missed those two until now!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=httpwwwmarkes-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00NMPN1N8\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><strong>Laura Childs<\/strong>: Most of you probably already know she will be releasing the 16th Cozy in her <strong>Tea Shop Mystery Series<\/strong>, titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00NMPN1N8\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Ming Tea Murder<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. But did you know she will also be releasing a new Scrapbooking Cozy titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00TY3ZKMW\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Parchment and Old Lace<\/strong><\/em><\/a>? Yep, she will be releasing the 13th <strong>Scrapbooking mystery<\/strong>, and I&#8217;m pretty excited about that!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=httpwwwmarkes-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00TY3ZKMW\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>Some of you know that my daughter is currently working in New Orleans, so my husband and I occasionally drive out to see her. We have had a great time hunting down the places Laura Childs describes so accurately in her Scrapbooking Cozies. <em>Parchment of Old Lace<\/em> has the Commander&#8217;s Palace in it, which we already had decided we were going to be visiting during our next time out in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=httpwwwmarkes-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00SI0279Q\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><strong>Joyce and Jim Lavene<\/strong>\/J.J. Cook\/Ellie Grant: OK, now I know most of you already know they will be releasing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00SI0279Q\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Looking for Mr. Good Witch<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, which will be the 2nd in their <strong>Retired Witches Mystery Series.<\/strong> That&#8217;s great news in itself, but did you know they are also releasing a new Peggy Lee Garden Cozy?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, it&#8217;s true! It&#8217;s the 10th anniversary of their <strong>Peggy Lee Garden Mystery Series<\/strong>, and we all get to celebrate by enjoying the 8th in the series titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00UG9SBBK\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Killing Weeds<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=httpwwwmarkes-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00UG9SBBK\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>On to my next find: As <strong>J.J. Cook<\/strong>, the Lavenes will be releasing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B00U5KNT1C\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Fat Tuesday Fricassee<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. This will be the 3rd in their <strong>Biscuit Bowl Food Truck Mystery Series<\/strong>. (I&#8217;m sorry, but I don&#8217;t have the book cover, but will post it on the Cozy-Mystery site as soon as I find it.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=httpwwwmarkes-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B015CZD162\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>Also, <strong>Kathleen Ernst<\/strong> is releasing a new Cozy in her\u00a0<strong>Chloe Ellefson Mystery Series<\/strong>. Some of you know that Kathleen also writes American Girl mysteries, for which she has been nominated several times for the Agatha Award for Best Children&#8217;s\/Yound Adult mysteries, as well as an Edgar Award for Best Juvenile mystery nomination. The sleuth (Chloe Ellefston) is a curator of a Wisconsin living history museum during the 1980s. Anyway, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0738744700\/httpwwwmarkes-20\"><em><strong>Death on the Prairie<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is the 6th Cozy Mystery in this series.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, when I find new Cozies, I just go ahead and post them on the site.
