Parker (The Television Movie!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good news for all of you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cozy-mystery.com\/Robert-B.-Parker.html\">Robert B. Parker<\/a> fans out there AND all of you mystery readers who crave mystery movies:<\/p>\n<p>Jesse Stone&#8217;s new two hour\u00a0television movie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0024396EW\/?&amp;tag=httpwwwmarkes-20\">Thin Ice <\/a>will be on this Sunday night at 9:00 EST (which for me translates into 8:00) on CBS. I wanted to be sure and tell\u00a0those of you who don&#8217;t know about it, since we have had previous discussions about these special event movies. This will be the fifth in the Jesse Stone movie series: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0009FU0ZQ\/?&amp;tag=httpwwwmarkes-20\">Stone Cold<\/a>,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B000OVLBFS\/?&amp;tag=httpwwwmarkes-20\">Night Passage<\/a>,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B000OVLBG2\/?&amp;tag=httpwwwmarkes-20\">Death in Paradise<\/a>,\u00a0 &amp;\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00116GEK2\/?&amp;tag=httpwwwmarkes-20\">Sea Change<\/a> are the previous four installments.<\/p>\n<p>Police Chief Jesse Stone (of Paradise, Massachusetts)\u00a0is in trouble for getting involved in a shoot-out in Boston. Since Jesse (played by Tom Selleck of\u00a0Magnum P.I. fame)\u00a0has to spend a lot of time sorting out his\u00a0trouble in Boston,\u00a0his absence in Paradise\u00a0causes a problem there. And to make things worse, Jesse fired one of Paradise&#8217;s greatest money-makers&#8230; a policeman who gave out more than his share of tickets\u00a0 &gt;&gt;&gt; which boosted the town&#8217;s income quite nicely!<\/p>\n<p>So, set up your Replay machines, Tivos, DVRs,\u00a0VCRs, or just have your alarm clocks set\u00a0for 8:00 (my time, probably not yours!) for Sunday,\u00a0March 1!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good news for all of you Robert B.
